It gets you where you'd like to go, I used a Droid for three years or so. swapped to an iPhone about 6 months ago, I find the UI better and simpler to use on the iPhone(I saw no loss in the sync facility ). i am a big gmail/google calendar/tasks user, Battery life was better on the iPhone than it was on the Galaxy Nexus that I tried for a few weeks before I returned it.
And pretty well my Droid 2, over-all.

2012. it depends on what you use your Droid for. I switched from a Droid to an iPhone some time ago and the texting interface is a lot more intuitive(there are also ) IMO. A greater variety of apps open to play with, I'm totally a gameinternettexting user. So I've been very happy with the iPhone.

things are just easier and more intuitive and doesn't have random glitches etc(if you have other Apple things ) Like I got a mac laptop and Apple TV this year, then you can do other awesome things. Like sync the web pages so when you open your laptop you can pull up the page you were reflecting on on your phone.
And Apple TV works as an invisible external monitor for both my phone and laptop. Also battery I had good Droids, The battery on the 4S exceeds what I had, And I use the product more.
